Maintain contact with construction managers and architects to ensure receiving such documents is on time for engineers review.  Create EXCEL spreadsheets of HVAC chiller, boiler, air handling unit and exhaust fan components taken from submitted direct digital control schematics. This information to be used by mechanical engineers field testing purposes in the commissioning of new and existing school, commercial and institutional building projects.

Draw mechanical duct and piping layouts using AutoCAD 13, 14 and 15.

Responsible for the design and drawing of duct layouts and associated sheet metal fabricated products for ”design/build” projects in school and commercial building projects using AutoCAD versions 14, 2000 and hand drafting.

Project Coordinator:

Responsible for reviewing mechanical “plan/spec” and “design/build” drawings for the purpose of ordering equipment and materials. Upon review, procure equipment submittal documents for approval from various suppliers and order selected equipment and materials. In addition, obtain permits and organize contractors to the jobsite. Finally, oversee the progress of projects by maintaining close contact with the owner, architect/engineer, foreman and field personnel through project completion.
